Our favorite locations for dreaming, scheming, planning, and meeting is almost always a cocktail bar. We’re not discerning; dive bars, gorgeous interiors, craft cocktails, great lighting, sticky counter tops—we love them all. In honor of one of our newest products (Cocktail Sticks) we’ve listed a few of our favorite spots below. Our cocktails of choice? Joe – a Rye Old Fashioned, Sallyann – an Aperol Negroni.

001 – Hong Kong
Discreetly hidden down a dark alley, this gem is like walking into a glamorous 1920’s nightclub. Complete with sultry lounge singers, copious amounts of velvet, and the best Cuban Rum cocktails we’ve ever tasted.

Angel Face – Portland, OR
Hand painted pink wall paper, a horseshoe shaped bar, and meticulously crafted cocktails. A must-visit for anyone passing through Portland.

Bao Bei – Vancouver, BC
A Chinese Brasserie meets classic European cafe interior; charming and exotic with the perfect amount of neon and fusion-crafted cocktails.

Bootlegger Tiki – Palm Springs, CA
Located in the same space as the original Don the Beachcomber restaurant, it’s the perfect amount of all things tiki, tacky, and kitschy.

Chateau Marmont – Los Angeles, CA
Go for the people watching alone; celebrities, socialites, and debutantes.

Foreign National – Seattle, WA
Postcard-sized with a four foot diameter disco ball and a Sinatra-esque vibe serving tweaked classic cocktails.

Passatempo – Walla Walla, WA
Delicate glassware, the smells of freshly pasta, and classic Jim German cocktail twists. (Not far from our new retail location, JOIN Shop Foundry!)

Spain – New York, NY
Tapas, red tuxedo jackets, sangria, and a moment frozen in time. This Greenwich Village treasure has remained untouched since it opened in the 1960’s. Classics served in chunky, perfectly dis-proportioned barware.

Sun Liquor – Seattle, WA (on Summit Ave E)
Perfectly cozy neighborhood spot with flight cocktails, rotating menus, fresh squeezed juices and the best Mai Tai in town.

The Modern – New York, NY
Post MoMA visit—sleek and lively, cozy up to a spot at the marble bar and watch the bartenders work their fast-paced magic.

Trick Dog – San Francisco, CA
Known for constantly changing their cocktail menu (12 new drinks, twice a year), it’s loud, always crowded and totally worth it. Some of the best cocktails EVER.

Trou Normand – San Francisco, CA
High ceilings and filled with natural light, this elegant spot is the perfect place for a mid-afternoon charcuterie plate and a meticulously crafted cocktail.
