It almost always starts with a feeling. It most definitely starts with a stack of books.
We are mood board makers. Not online and never digital; cut paper, rubber cement, and foam board.
The simple and time consuming acts of seeking and finding, photographing, printing, cutting, arranging, and gluing cements this imagery into our creative minds.
Transforming a feeling into a permanent reference.
And so begins the transition from 2D to 3D. Via sketches, prototypes, and mock ups. Many ideas fail, many are edited or put on pause. Some go forward to become real and some come back at a later date in a different form.
Our studio houses our collection of dozens of mood boards. Each capturing not only a time period but solidifying our process and approach.
